"Schmalfilmer" is the first official album (ep) by plastikk. Tracks 1 to 7 belong together and can be seen as one song. Stephane cut the song apart because he wants to give the listener the chance to switch between different parts within the song. "Schmalfilmer" is a very short approach towards rythmic orientated music (seen in the context of the second publication "hoertheater"). Early experiments with samples, guitar noise, filter and abstraction of sounds are the components of this EP. Melody, electronics and experiments sometimes standing next to each other and sometimes put on top of one another.
