RYN is a relatively unheard British duo (with members also active in drone rock band MARZURAAN & harshnoise project ROMANCE) although they began musical productivity in early 2003. Since that time they have amassed an extensive body of work (with few official releases) with this 7" being their first vinyl release. Their drone-style could be described as ritualistic "power-drone" with an emphasis on fusing the organic and mechanical. For this 7" solely field recordings were used, a break in style from their usual ambient wash of guitar generated drones. These energetic sound-sources build masses of heavy clouds in movement that flood your mind away. Pure metallic flood-noises that brings a most welcomed VOID into your mind.
